Redefining Philanthropy, Together
Whether you are a long-standing fundholder or new to Toronto Foundation, we're excited for you to join the Learning Exchange--a series of continuous learning sessions to guide your philanthropic journey. Over the course of the year, you’ll hear from experts who will share signals from the sector, insights from community leaders on the ground, and be invited to reflect on the collective and personal values that underpin impactful charitable giving.
New fundholders: Welcome! Other fundholders have told us this year-long learning series provided all the essentials to set them up for deeper and more strategic philanthropy. We hope to see you often!
To the rest of our fundholder family: If you’ve not participated in all the foundational learning sessions, please join us this year to ensure you’re optimizing your philanthropy. We are continuously learning about changes in philanthropy and what community needs from us. While the titles of several other events may not change, know that the content continuously evolves. From the State of Philanthropy to From Reconciliation to Reciprocity and Beyond Granting, these events will connect you with leading voices on the most pressing issues of philanthropy.
At Toronto Foundation we believe in the power of philanthropy to make meaningful change for all. For us, this change is about contributing to a society where everyone belongs and has equal opportunity to thrive. These aren’t just buzz words. We try to model this in how we grant and in how we partner with community. We don’t have all the answers. But we know that they will come through the strength of our relationships. Philanthropy can be a powerful force for good but it can’t work in isolation.
The Learning Exchange brings donors together with community for ongoing shared learning. We partner with community leaders to bring current thinking and practice to our events, research and giving tools.
