Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) is a multi-service agency in the heart of Agincourt in north Scarborough, addressing needs and empowering children, youth, newcomers, homeless and underserved communities to build a better tomorrow.
With more than a decade of social service experience, Evan Muller-Cheng is developing academic and private sector partnerships to strengthen ACSA’s approach toward evidence-informed decision making, resourcing and planning. He is also involved in a community-based research partnership on a lesbian and bisexual female gang needs assessment. ACSA was awarded this grant to support Evan’s studies at University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME), where he is taking courses towards his Master’s degree in Health Sciences. His courses will increase his competencies, skills and knowledge and foster his leadership in supporting the strategic direction, operation, and administration of ACSA.
