East Metro Youth Services (EMYS) is dedicated to providing the right mental health services at the right time by ‘doing whatever it takes’ to meet the needs of the clients, participants, families and communities they serve. EMYS is at the forefront of progressive efforts to manage the interface between institutional and community-based services.
Carly Kalish is an innovator and champion within the sector and on the streets for the safety and empowerment of sex workers. EMYS was awarded this grant to support Carly and her enrollment in the Nonprofit Management Certificate program offered by Harvard University. The skills learned in this program will help further Carly’s management and strategy skills, so that she can be better prepared to help EMYS deliver programs and services to our community.
