Regent Park Focus is a new media, radio and television arts broadcast centre that uses community arts and participatory media practices to increase civic engagement, promote resiliency, and effect positive social change for traditionally marginalized youth. In Focus engages qualified media arts professionals to lead youth in the process of creating a television series from conception to broadcast. With over 200 hours of workshop instruction, youth take on roles of producers, researchers, script-writers, camera operators, hosts, actors, directors, and editors. The programs are broadcast to the local community on Regent Park TV, a service available to all Regent Park households.
Regent Park Focus is trusteed by Dixon Hall.
