This is an outstanding city.
But you don't just take.
You've got to build.

The Reading Partnership at the Base

The Reading Partnership (TRP) is a resident-led initiative established to empower parents to teach their children to read while working collaboratively to promote literacy in the community. TRP is a project of The Base and supported by The Base’s charitable partner, TIDES Canada Initiatives Society.

As a teacher, Camesha Cox has worked in schools across Toronto and around the world, and is currently teaching part-time at Seneca College as an Early Childhood Education instructor. The Ontario Women’s Directorate has recognized her for her role with TRP and for her contributions to improving the lives of girls and women across the province. TRP was awarded this grant to support Camesha’s enrollment in Stanford Business School’s Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders as well as for a mentorship opportunity.

The Reading Partnership is trusteed by Tides Canada Initiatives Society.
