FIFA World Cup 26™ Toronto Soccer for All Legacy Program

As a proud Host City of FIFA World Cup 26™, Toronto has a once-in-a-life time opportunity to create a lasting impact in our communities.

Soccer is one of Canada’s most popular sports and we want everyone to get a chance to play!
Across Toronto, especially in equity-deserving neighbourhoods, many young people are left on the sidelines. Not because they lack heart or interest, but because of systemic barriers -- limited access to safe spaces, high program costs, and few inclusive pathways to develop workforce-ready life skills.

The FIFA World Cup 26™ is a unique opportunity to change the game through the Soccer for All Legacy Program. By expanding access and building community capacity, we’re creating opportunities for every young person to reach their full potential through investments in:

  • Free programs that teach youth leadership, soccer fundamentals and movement
  • Pathways to training and employment in sport
  • Mini-pitches built in equity-deserving neighbourhoods to increase access to safe play
  • Revitalization of Centennial Park as a soccer hub for youth, families, and residents to gather and connect

This moment is the beginning of a legacy rooted in access, equity, and opportunity — creating strong communities where every young person can play, grow and thrive.

Toronto Foundation is the City of Toronto’s official and authorized charitable donation manager for the Soccer for All Legacy Program. To learn more about the FIFA World Cup 26™ tournament visit Torontofwc26.ca.
