About Our Fund

Climate change already impacts all of us, and will continue to intensify. While it further erodes the balance of environmental ecosystems, it exacerbates issues faced in Toronto and globally including health, infrastructure, food security and employment.

The Climate Change Fund exists to address climate change, applying collected funds to practical solutions.

The Fund is run by a collective membership of fund contributors (a giving circle). The Climate Change Giving Circle continues to give the opportunity to join with others, where we will collectively learn, network and donate to important projects that are doing great work in tackling this issue.

Join Us

Giving Circle members engage in quarterly meetings to learn, discuss, and engage together with issues around climate change. Members range from novice to expert, and all voices are welcome. Our group intentionally seeks members who speak from Indigenous, ethnic minority, and youth perspectives.

We welcome all donations, and participants. If you are interested in learning more about the Climate Fund and how to join the circle of diverse individuals who are guiding the work, please contact us here camerondunkin@gmail.com.

Fund voting members are generally asked to contribute $400 or more annually to this fund.

To enable the Donor Advisor to properly recognize donors for their contributions, Toronto Foundation will share your contact information and donation amount with the Donor Advisor unless you have checked the anonymous box on the donation form.
