The NJ Foundation was established in 2016 as a way for N+J to give back to the city where they were born and raised. N+J feel blessed for having won the birthright lottery by being children of immigrant parents who chose to uproot themselves and move to Canada despite their limited English. As a result of the generosity of strangers who took a chance on their parents by giving them the opportunity to earn a decent living, N+J were able to receive a first-class public education which led to their careers as professionals.
