Reach for the Top is a Canadian academic competition for high school students. Attracting young people from a wide range of backgrounds and specializations, Reach for the Top teams answer a mix of challenging academic and trivia questions in the hopes of reaching the annual media-recorded National Championship Finals, first held in 1966. 

In 2014 the Reach for the Top Foundation was established to recognize and assist outstanding ‘Reach’ students and alumni. 

2016 will be the 50th anniversary of the Reach for the Top National Finals.
