Many City of Toronto staff realize the importance of developing and encouraging future generations of municipal leaders. This Foundation has been established and will be maintained by former City of Toronto staff and those wishing to honour them. The Foundation’s initial purpose is to ‘pay it forward’ by recognizing and encouraging aspiring municipal public servants in Toronto through bursaries, grants and awards. Either while at a Toronto-based post-secondary institution or relatively new to being employed at the City of Toronto. A special focus will be on individuals from equity-seeking backgrounds.
