The initial purpose of the Ұ Foundation is to advance equitable economics and environmental stewardship within, but not
limited to, the urban ecosystem of Toronto and surrounding locales.

The overarching goal will be to align with and contribute to:

i) 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) initiative launched by the Rockefeller Foundation as a multi-lateral movement to address
impacts of urbanization, globalization and climate change
ii) UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”
with an integrative approach to addressing all 17 global goals

At this time, through micro-grants and impact investing, the Ұ Foundation will support organizations including small to
mid-sized charities and initiatives that may be overlooked by institutional funders.
