Thank you for your interest in the Susan Watt Memorial Fund.

Susan died suddenly in July 2025 at age 61 from complications following an epileptic seizure. Her career, spanning over 35 years, was dedicated to early childhood education. As a daycare professional, instructor for several Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) programs and founder of Kinder Minds Education, she impacted thousands of children – those she worked with personally, but also the many ECA instructors she taught.

This memorial fund in honour of Sue is meant to have impact in areas of needs that we, her family, think would be important to her, such as early literacy and education, newcomer women, and the arts. At this time, the goal of the Fund is to continue Susan's legacy of caring and kindness by providing financial support to persons – particularly women new to Canada - enrolled in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Assistant studies programs.

We're grateful for your support,

Heather, Hilary, Nancy, Marjory, Fergus, Bill and Sheila
