The KB3 Foundation was created by Canadian soccer icon Kadeisha Buchanan to honor the community that helped her become one of the world's best footballers. Raised by a single mother alongside her six sisters, Kadeisha experienced firsthand the challenges that many young athletes from single-parent families face. Through the KB3 Foundation, she is committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent young girls from pursuing their passions, realizing their potential, and building confidence through sport. The Foundation aims to empower young female athletes and their families by creating access to opportunities, mentorship, and experiences that inspire personal growth, resilience, and success.

The KB3 Foundation will support programs and initiatives that advance education, mentorship, life skills development, and opportunities, including initiatives that contribute to the relief of poverty for individuals and families experiencing social or economic barriers and other demonstrated needs. Currently our flagship initiative, the Rising Ballerz Program, will support girls from single-parent households by providing access to soccer programming, financial assistance, mentorship opportunities, and transformative experiences both on and off the field. Through ongoing programming and community engagement, the Foundation seeks to build a supportive network that helps young athletes and their families thrive

The KB3 Foundation believes that investing in young women is an investment in stronger families, stronger communities, and a brighter future. By supporting the next generation of Rising Ballerz, donors become part of a movement dedicated to creating opportunity, fostering belonging, and ensuring that every girl has the chance to pursue her dreams without limitations.
