This trust was established in 2017, in memory of respected and beloved Canadian performing artist, Winnipeg-born Robert Latham Jeffrey.

Jeffrey was a boy chorister at St. John’s Cathedral, then a scholarship student at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. His rich tenor voice and deft stage presence led to a four-decade career on the concert, musical and operatic stage across Canada, in the United States and in Europe.

Grants are made to Canadian registered charities and qualified donees. At this time, the fund will be focusing on Canadian students in endeavours related to the Arts and/or Community Enrichment.

This Fund’s granting purpose is subject to change at the request of the Donor Advisor. To enable the Donor Advisor to properly recognize donors for their contributions, Toronto Foundation will share your contact information and donation amount with the Donor Advisor unless you have checked the anonymous box on the donation form.
