The fund provides a permanent, sustainable source of support that ensures Sesheme can continue to address changing and emerging needs not just today, but for generations to come.

For too long, support for Black women, children and seniors has been limited by short-term and unpredictable funding. This often forces programs to shrink, pause, or close just when people need them most. The Sesheme Legacy Fund aims to change that reality. By building an enduring pool of resources, we seek to reduce disparities and foster resilience through strategic investments in programming, exploration, community mobilization, and advocacy that strengthen communities and support sustainable change.
