As an organization that helps seniors live fully, every day, Sienna Senior Living has a natural connection to the communities around us. And while we will always have a dedicated focus on the residents who live with us, we are also committed to being a community leader, conducting our business in a way that is caring, respectful and supportive of the communities where we operate. We believe that reaching beyond our walls is vital to our vision of awakening our communities to the positive possibilities of life’s next chapter. To that end, Sienna Senior Living is proud to establish the Sienna For Seniors Foundation.

Launched in May 2021, one of the major focuses of the Sienna for Seniors Foundation is to make targeted investments to registered charities serving seniors in the communities across Canada where Sienna has become an important part of the social fabric.

“In everything we do, we are guided by our belief that it is both a tremendous privilege and a tremendous responsibility to serve Canada’s seniors.  Through our work, we see countless fellow organizations who provide amazing programs and services in support of elder Canadians, and by establishing the Sienna for Seniors Foundation, we are solidifying our ongoing commitment to bring support to those who need it.”

~ Nitin Jain, President and CEO, Sienna Senior Living

The Sienna for Seniors Foundation works in partnership with The Toronto Foundation, a registered charity that supports initiative such as the Sienna for Seniors Foundation in the administration of philanthropic giving.

The Foundation will complement the philanthropic efforts that will continue to take place at the individual retirement home and care community level in their respective communities.
