Grant Deadline
- Grants received by December 2 will be deposited or mailed to the organization before the end of the calendar year
Wednesday, December 9, 2026
Gift of Securities Deadline
- We require a completed Gift of Securities Form in order to accept and sell your securities
- Remember to send us the form before transferring your securities
- Securities will be accepted after this date but may not be processed in time for a 2026 tax receipt
*Note: Gifts of mutual funds, or from self-managed accounts can take up to 4 weeks so please send them ASAP and no later than December 1, 2026

Donations by Mail Deadline
- Our team is typically in the office Tuesday to Thursday, and occasionally on Mondays and Fridays, from 9 AM to 5 PM for in-person drop-offs. For after-hours, a secure mailbox is located next to our door
- Any gifts that are postmarked December 31 will receipt a 2026 tax receipt
- Don’t forget to make your cheque out to Toronto Foundation and put the fund name in the memo section

Online Donations Deadline
- Please ensure that you make your donation by by midnight to receive a 2026 tax receipt
