Making a contribution to your TF fund and hoping for a 2025 tax receipt?
Gifts of securities: Wednesday, December 10, 2025*
- We require a completed Gift of Securities Form in order to accept and sell your securities
- Remember to send us the form before transferring your securities
- Securities will be accepted after this date but may not be processed in time for a 2025 tax receipt
*Note: Gifts of mutual funds, or from self-managed accounts can take up to 4 weeks so please send them ASAP and no later than December 1, 2025.
Donations by mail: Tuesday, December 31, 2025
- Important: Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, we kindly ask that you avoid mailing cheques.
- Our team is typically in the office Tuesday to Thursday, and occasionally on Mondays and Fridays, from 9 AM to 5 PM for in-person drop-offs. For after-hours, a secure mailbox is located next to our door.
- Don’t forget to make your cheque out to Toronto Foundation and put the fund name in the memo section.

- Making a gift online: please ensure that you do so by midnight.
